Ratib -al- Haddad and The Author. The author of the Ratib al-Haddadal-Sayyid Abdullah bin Alawi al-Haddad was the 30th generation decendant of the Prophet S.A.W. He was born on 5 Safar 1044 H, in the outskirts of town called Tarim Subair. He was a tall, barrel-chested, white and authoritative-looking. Ratib Al-Haddad. In the Name of Allāh, the Beneficent, the Merciful. | Bismillāh i’r Rahmān i’r Rahīm |

Allāh! None is worthy of worship but He, | Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa’l |

The (Prophetic) Messenger believed | Āmana’r Rasūlu |
Allāh does not place on any soul a burden | Lā Yukallifullāhu nafsan |

None is worthy of worship except Allāh, | Lā ilāha Illallāhu |

Glory be to Allāh | SubhānAllāh |

Glory be to Allāh with His (Own) Praise; | SubhānAllāhi wa bi-Hamdihi |
